M260 vs TM260

Re: M260 vs TM260
The TM260 is a transom mount transducer & it's huuuuuuuuuuuuugggggggeeee.
If I remember correctly, you have a 1900 Maxum/inboard therefore, Imho the Tm 260 is not a good idea.
Nothing beats a through hull or in hull transducer if installed correctly. I'm talking from years of experience.
Take the M260 like I told you & don't worry about temperature since you can add a sensor for a few euros later. & if you decide
to install the M260 later in another boat, all you need is a replacement tank available everywhere for like 80-90 euros.
Talk to furuno in limassol to see if they can do the install for you & for how much.
Cheers.
